About
Communication is an essential skill for conducting business, especially in the international context of aviation. To be truly successful in any role you need to understand yourself and others, and know how to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues. This course will improve your understanding of cross-cultural differences, explore different methods of communication, and teach you how to transfer information clearly and concisely according to the needs of your audience.
Course format: This course is available at IATA Training Centers, regional training partner locations, and on-demand as in-company training. This course provides 40 hours of instruction delivered by an official IATA Instructor.
The recommended level of language proficiency is ICAO Operational Level 4 for courses in English or equivalent for other languages.

Certificate awarded
An IATA Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 70% or higher on all exercises and exams. A special distinction is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 90% or higher.
