Strategic Partnerships

Under this area, Strategic Partners can participate in the e-services Task Force which brings airlines, systems providers and IATA ticketing specialists together to define a common approach to implementing common global EMD standards.

This project aims to take the remaining paper out of the airline ticketing processes to create a paperless environment according to IATA's electronic miscellaneous document (EMD) standard. The IATA Board’s vision is that the industry will have 100% e-services capacity by end 2012 and 100% usage in IATA BSPs by end 2013.
