Asia Pacific Cargo Events

Singapore Air Cargo Agents Association (SAAA@Singapore)-IATA Air Cargo Day event held at Singapore Expo on 31 October welcomed more than 200 delegates. This is our fourth collaboration with SAAA @ Singapore to organize this event.

This year’s events focused on cargo digitalization and safety risks due to undeclared dangerous goods and lithium batteries. Industry experts shared their perspectives on the importance of industry collaboration, reskilling workforce, the challenges of handling dangerous goods and sustainability.

At this event, Singapore Airlines was awarded the CEIV Fresh certification. This demonstrates the airline's pursuit of quality, operational excellence and commitment to contributing to food safety and a sustainable supply chain.

SAAA@ Singapore received the CBTA Center of Excellence certification for its strong commitment to the CBTA Center program and valuable support and contribution to providing competency-based dangerous goods training to the local air-freight community.

IATA will continue to organize more air cargo events and activities to engage the community on industry priorities and standards.

Below are some highlights from the event in Singapore:
