Airport Slot Management and Coordination

This technical course will help you to learn WASG principles and procedures, including:

  1. How to request and keep slots
  2. How to allocate slots
  3. How the usage of slots is monitored

 

According to the best international practices that are applicable/followed in more than 350 coordinated airports around the world.

 

Airport Slot Coordination: Policy and Regulation

This course will provide a broader perspective on slot policy and regulation especially focused on the objective of slot coordination and Key regulatory aspects and principles.

This course is recommended for:

  1. Civil aviation authorities and Regulators
  2. Airline slot policy and slot managers, regulatory affairs executives
  3. Airport capacity management managers, route development and aviation business directors.
  4. Heads of slot policy, slot managers

 

Certificates

Certificate awarded

An IATA Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 70% or higher on all exercises and exams. A special distinction is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 90% or higher.

IATA Diploma programs

IATA Diplomas provide industry-recognized qualifications for a wide range of aviation specializations.

Diplomas usually consist of four courses. Required courses are mandatory, and Elective courses allow you to choose from a selection of courses, all of which must be completed within three years. 

In-house training

In-house training can be a cost-effective alternative to IATA classroom training. Classroom and virtual classroom courses can be delivered at your premises for groups of 5 or more, at a time most convenient to you.
