 Artificial Intelligence Lab

AI Lab - 21 June 2018

View Agenda (pdf)

This 1 day add-on lab follows the IATA – Aviation Data Symposium and aims to provide attendees with an overview of AI use cases in aviation. It will also provide a platform for AI solution providers and their customers to share their experiences in developing use case and implementation of AI.

The purpose of this lab is to introduce AI to the air transport industry as a new and pertinent tool for doing business. Participants should leave the lab with an understanding of artificial intelligence and knowing where and how to start AI developments within their companies.

Training Sessions at ADS

To allow you to take full advantage of your time at ADS join the educational and training sessions on:

  • Data Protection – Key Principles and International Framework

Data Protection – Key Principles and International Framework - This is a special introductory version of a 2 day in class course, delivered on site at ADS in two 1.5 hours sessions.

  •  Airline Industry Data Model (AIDM)

Airline Industry Data Model (AIDM) Workshop – This is a one hour workshop delivered on site at ADS, and is intended for Information and Business Architects as well as any other interested parties to dive into the AIDM and share lessons learnt from projects to date.

Aviation is a truly interconnected industry; however the seamless flow of data becomes challenging through the use of inconsistent definitions - the same term has different meanings in different systems while multiple terms are used to describe the same concept. The Airline Industry Data Model (AIDM) aims to become a single point of access to store:

  • Industry-agreed vocabulary
  • Data definitions and their relationships
  • Related business requirements and business models

Our Diversity & Inclusion Pledge

IATA believes that diversity of culture, gender, age, orientation and experience boosts the success of the aviation industry. We actively encourage aviation professionals with diverse profiles to contribute to our events as speakers, panelists, facilitators, or in any other way.
