Asia-Pacific Airline Cyber Security Workshop
IATA is organizing an Asia-Pacific Airline Cyber Security Workshop, with the support of Singapore's Ministry of Transport and the Singapore Aviation Academy. This workshop is designed to raise awareness of the range of cyber threats facing the aviation industry, globally and in the region, and to exchange best practices on managing the increasing risk.

IATA member airlines and Security Strategic Partners
The Workshop will provide an overview of the cyber threats facing the aviation industry, from fraud to hacktivism and potential acts of unlawful interference. It will provide some concrete case studies of incidents and examples of airline structures and plans to address the risk. Cyber security requires a cooperative approach, within companies and with partners; representatives from airlines, aircraft manufacturers, airports, ANSPs and regulators will discuss how efforts can best be coordinated.

Who can attend
The event is free of charge and open to IATA member airlines with Security and/or Information Technology responsibilities. IATA members should feel free to attend the Workshop with both Security and IT representation, to allow for valuable exchanges regarding internal airline coordination on cyber security.
The event is also open to IATA Security Strategic Partners. Other stakeholders may only join upon invitation by IATA or MOT.
Please note that participants in this IATA Workshop are also welcome to attend the Conference of Civil Aviation Cyber Security organized by Singapore’s Ministry of Transport on 9-10 July. More information will be communicated shortly.
