The IATA e-Cargo Conference and Workshop 2012 took place in Geneva from 26 to 28 June 2012. It was the first event of its kind organized for and with the participation of the Cargo Industry from all over the world.
Few would argue that e-Commerce is a must for our industry. But what is the path to get there? This Conference will share the latest status of digitizing key industry documents and building a paperless transportation process for our industry.
In conjunction with the conference we hosted a complimentary e-freight and e-AWB Workshop on 28 June.
The conference provided a platform for industry professionals with a stake in e-Commerce and e-freight to interact with each other and be informed about the latest worldwide developments, in terms of regulation, standards, business process, and technology. The approach was interactive, focusing on debates from experts, opening the floor for challenges and new ideas.
