This unique event gathered over 600 delegates from the entire ground handling community – from airlines, ground handlers, manufacturers and suppliers to airports representatives.

The focus was on Risk Management and how the different sectors of the ground handling industry deal with the wide varieties of risk inherent in their business.

A recurring aspect in these discussions was the merits of IATA’s ISAGO, IGOM and GDDB initiatives and how these combine to provide industry with the tools necessary to achieve an integrated approach to identifying risks, mitigating the risks, ensuring that the mitigating actions are implemented and confirming that the mitigating actions do in fact have a positive effect.
