Progress in the design and reliability of modern aircraft, a rapidly changing operational environment, and the realization that not enough had been done to address the human factors issue, prompted a strategic industry review of pilot training.
The traditional hours-based qualification process fails to guarantee competency in all cases. A new paradigm for competency-based training and assessment of airline pilots was needed. This conference provides the ideal forum for training providers, operators and regulatory authorities to discuss best practices in the implementation of multi-crew pilot and evidence-based training programs, in a competency-based framework.
For this event, we use hashtag #ITQILON13.

All sessions include a panel discussion allowing time for dynamic audience interaction and contribution.
