This workshop provides in-depth training - free of charge - on MCTF input toolset for airline personnel. This workshop will help the participants familiarize with all aspects of the tool, facilitate data collection within their airline and improve their cost and performance monitoring.
IATA’s Maintenance Cost Task Force (MCTF) gathers and analyzes operational data and maintenance costs. Data is collected with the MCTF Toolset, de-identified and coded to ensure confidentiality. MCTF publishes an annual benchmark report analyzing maintenance cost by segment (Line, Base, Component, Engine), by element (Labor, Material, Outsourced), by aircraft type and by airline size group.
Fifty airlines submit maintenance cost data every year for IATA, which represented around 20% of worldwide fleet and maintenance spend. IATA wants to increase airline participation and, therefore, statistical significance of this unique dataset.
MCTF has launched data collection for FY2017 (deadline to submit data is June 30, 2018).
Who should attend?
Airline personnel in charge of:
- Cost planning and control for technical operations/maintenance and engineering areas
- Reporting data to MCTF
