The Second Middle East (MID) Region Safety Summit

This summit has been organized by ICAO & IATA in coordination with the Public Authority of Civil Aviation (PACA) of Oman and Oman Air (the primary host).

The objectives of the summit are to present the status of aviation safety in the MID Region, the progress made in attaining the aviation safety targets outlined in the MID Region Safety Strategy, and the RASG-MID activities, as well as to discuss challenges and opportunities for the way forward.

The first two days of the summit will be open to all participants and the third day will conclude the summit with a closed session to the top management (CEOs and DGs) to provide a high level briefing on safety accountability and impact on regional safety initiatives.

Registration information

For participants from the different organizations, please fill the registration form C (doc) and send it to copying no later than 10 April 2014.

As for participants attending the closed session on 29 April 2014 (DGs and CEOs), please fill the registration form D (doc) and send it to copying no later than 10 April 2014.
