The Airline Operational Efficiency & Cost Management (OECM) Workshop presents methodologies for airline performance measurement and operational efficiency improvement. This is an opportunity for participants to improve their understanding of operational cost management initiatives in the areas of Flight Operations, Technical Operations, Ground Operations, Operations Control Center (OCC) and Operations Planning.
Participants will learn more about strategies to increase their airline's operational efficiency, methods to capture costs, develop specific metrics & KPIs to track and control achieved results. They will then be able to apply these techniques in their own business and operational decisions.
The two-day workshop consists of joint sessions (e.g. introduction to operational efficiency, performance measurement, decision making process, OCC, Operations Planning and Strategy) and breakout sessions (running in parallel tracks for the three operational areas mentioned above).
Attendees will participate in group activities and simulations.
The workshop is open to airlines' employees.
