Laurent BARTHELEMY is graduate of Paris « Ecole Polytechnique » and of the french «Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées».

He began his professional carrier as a civil engineer in Bouygues Cie.

In 1983, he joined Air France, where he held various positions in the Engineering and Maintenance Division and in the Paris Charles de Gaulle Ground Operations Division.

In 1990, he was named Head of the Investment and Fleet Planning Department.

In 1994, he was appointed Vice President Flight Operations for Asia-Pacific.

In 1998, he was named Vice President Operations for the Charles de Gaulle HUB.

He has been named Senior Vice President Quality for Air France since September 2000.

Laurent BARTHELEMY is married, with three children and one granddaughter.
