Currently the President of New Age Security Solutions (2001-2007), a Transportation Security Consultancy firm based in Rockville MD U.S.A.. This company was established in October 2001 following a request by the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) to provide it with professional support in developing and implementing a new security policy and program so as to elevate Logan airport to a leading position in airport security. NASS’s achievements at Logan are widely recognized today by the U.S. Federal Government as well as by the aviation industry.

Before his involvement with Massport and Logan Airport he served as Director of Security at Tel-Aviv Ben-Gurion International Airport for a period of five years (1997-2001). In this position he was responsible for all aspects of the security operation, including planning, implementation and management.

Ron’s previous security experience stems from over 30 years (1965-1995) of work in security, intelligence and counterterrorism for the government of Israel (retired at the equivalent rank to colonel).

Ron appears frequently on international electronic media including CNN, NBC, FOX, CBS, PBS…etc. and is quoted by many newspapers including New York Times, Washington Post, Boston Globe, London Times, Der Spiegel and others.

Ron has testified before Senate and House Committees and provides regular advice on Aviation security to Senators, congressmen and their staff in Washington D.C.

Since 2001, he has led numerous transportation security projects in the US and abroad.
