The World Air Transport Summit and IATA’s 64th Annual General Meeting Is taking place at The Conrad Hotel, Istanbul, Turkey, 1 – 3 June 2008. Delegates are reminded to bring all AGM documentation to the meeting.

SPOUSE PROGRAMME

HOTEL ACCOMODATION
Accommodation has been arranged at The Conrad Hotel.
WEATHER
Average temperatures around the beginning of June are between 18 and 28 degrees Celsius / 65 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Minimal rainfall should be expected.
GROUND TRANSPORTATION
The hotel is located in the heart of Istanbul, approximately 30 minutes from the airport, depending upon traffic. There is no transportation organised by IATA for airport transfers. From İstanbul International Ataturk Airport a taxi costs approximately TRL 45.00.
EXCHANGE RATE
At the time of writing, TRL 1.00 is equal to USD 0.86 or to EUR 0.58.
VISA AND PASSPORT INFORMATION
Visas: Citizens of some countries may require a visa to enter Turkey. Please check with your local Turkish Embassy or Consulate for details.
Passports: Passports must be valid for the duration of your visit.
