For more than 35 years Nawal Taneja has been contributing within the global airline industry sector, as a practitioner, advisor, educator, and an author. During the past two decades, and at the encouragement of international airlines, he organized and chaired fourteen international symposia where senior executives from airlines and other businesses have gathered to discuss, in multi-industry forums, major drivers of change within the global airline business. In 2002, he began writing a series of books, again at the encouragement of and for practitioners in the airline industry. Four have been published already (the last one being, FASTEN YOUR SEATBELT: The Passenger is Flying the Plane). In recent years, he has been focusing on, and discussing with global aviation executives and government policy makers, the “step phase” changing dynamics of the airline business in a “flattening” world.
