2008 Application Procedure and Deadline

The selection process for the 2008 IATA Eagle Awards is underway. A neutral and independent panel of experienced individuals drawn from aviation industry backgrounds selects award winners.

The independent Eagle Awards Panel will meet in late April to decide on the winners, who will be represented with the Eagle Award on 2 June during the 2008 IATA AGM in Istanbul.

How to apply

In order to be eligible for consideration for the award your organisation must:

  • Be an Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP) or Airport handling a minimum of 5 million passengers annually.
  • Have committed to reasonable charges in 2008 - preferably either a reduction, or no increase, compared to 2007 together with a commitment to reductions in subsequent years.

The application should be a concise 2-page document highlighting how your organisation has fulfilled the following Criteria & Response Guidelines.

The application should be sent to IATA Eagle Awards clearly mentioning "2008 IATA Eagle Awards" in the e-mail title.

Deadline

The deadline for submissions is 4 April 2008. However, could you please confirm your intention to submit an application by 7 March 2008 at the latest.
