As Director of Airport Technology for Alaska Airlines, Jeff Anderson oversees Alaska’s patented Airport of the FutureTM initiatives, which include new terminal designs at Anchorage, Seattle, Los Angeles and Portland.

Jeff has held a number of positions throughout his 25-year career with Alaska, including responsibility for yield management, cargo automation, central baggage service, training and procedures development.  He developed and implemented the front end for Alaska’s Sabre reservation system, as well as oversaw the adoption of self-service technologies, including kiosks, Web check-in and mobile phone check-in.

Prior to joining Alaska, Anderson worked with Eastern Airlines, where he began his airline career as a ticket agent in Seattle, Washington.

Anderson graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Puget Sound and a Masters of Science in Technical Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is a past delegate to the IATA Joint Passenger Services Conference and CUSS management group.
