This month:
Tracking your airline's progress
Are you accessing your airline's ET Readiness Reports? And your airline's IET Readiness report? Every month, IATA makes available to 361 airlines specific information on the amount of tickets they issue as electronic tickets through IATA BSPs and how many of those are interline itineraries.
Additionally, IATA issues an airline CEO report with high-level information on each airline’s ET progress, including ET status, progress in upgrading interline agreements to electronic, and identified challenges to ET implementation. The CEO report also provides the airline's status for other StB projects.
Not sure how to interpret the data? Read the following guidance documents: ET Readiness - IET Readiness. So access your extranet page TODAY! You can even set up alerts to be notified every time a new report is uploaded.
ET Campaign launched!
Simplifying the Business has just launched an ET Campaign, which will be critical to assess the industry's status before the industry wide shift to ET in Dec 2007.
This time, more than ever before, the information you provide to your StB local representative will be critical to complete the CEO report, distributed in IATA's Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Vancouver next June.
