Plain paper printed AWBs Ė a well kept secret

Freight forwarders can present their neutral coded AWBs to the airlines from a non-colour, plain paper printer, as long the conditions of the contract are printed on the back of a minimum of three original copies.

This is part of the Reso600a amended four years ago to allow use of plain paper for both airline AWBs and neutral AWBs. Our message to the airline industry is clear: letís adjust quickly to this reality as e-freight initiatives will eventually force the airline industry to take tangible steps towards a paper-free environment.
