56% of respondents said they were very satisfied; the remainder being satisfied with TRACKER. We thank you for your support!

Your suggested actions to improve TRACKER were for IATA Cargo to give you more information on statistics and market outlook for air freight.

With this in mind, IATA Cargo is working with the IATA Economics Department to develop a regular economic briefing focusing on air cargo. In the meantime, statistics and a market outlook for air freight can be found at:

New IATA Air Waybill Conditions of Contract effective 17 March 2008

Only 160 days left! Are you ready for this new Air Waybill?

We are pleased to announce that the industry-preferred version of the IATA air waybill Conditions of Contract (Cargo Services Conference Resolution 600b) has been approved and declared effective. CSC Resolution 600b is the abbreviated and modernised Conditions of Contract that invoke both the Warsaw Convention and the Montreal Convention. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and tireless efforts in bringing this to a close. Successful Cargo Claims and Loss Prevention Conference in Geneva!

The third IATA Cargo Claims and Loss Prevention conference took place in Geneva from 25-27 September 2007. It was chaired by Ajay Pande, Manager, Cargo Agency Policy and was attended by approximately 90 delegates including airline claims professionals, lawyers, loss adjusters, surveyors, insurers and freight forwarders from all over the world. In the regions: India Industry Action Group (IIAG)

At the December 2006 IATA Cargo in Emerging Markets conference in India, Aleks Popovich, Global Head of Cargo at IATA, proposed the formation of the India Industry Action Group. Its purpose is to address the pressing needs of the Indian air cargo industry, with the objective of bringing the industry up to world-class standards. Read more
