The IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) programme is an internationally recognised and accepted evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline. IOSA's quality audit principles are designed to conduct audits in a standardised manner.

At the 65th IATA Annual General Meeting, seven airlines were commended for their early support and participation in the IOSA Programme, being among the first in their respective regions of the world to become IOSA Registered:
- American Airlines in North America
- Croatia Airlines in Europe
- Kenya Airways in Africa
- LAN Airlines in South America
- Qatar Airways in the Middle East
- Singapore Airlines in Asia Pacific
- Xiamen Airlines in North Asia
