The Common Use Self Service (CUSS) Standard allows self service applications from multiple providers to be accessed from a single device - for example: a self service kiosk offering check-in facility for several different airlines.
There is a requirement for the CUSS platform and the CUSS applications to be certified.
The CUSS Manual contains:
- the technical information required to develop CUSS platforms and applications
- the certification requirements and procedures
- template for certificates
- template for a service level agreement
Only subscribers to the CUSS Manual web application can post certificates to the website. There is a one-time fee when you subscribe for the first time and an additional annual subcription fee, to be honored every year. The annual subscription is for a 12 months period (starting on the month you subscribe). Subscribers also need to register as a CUSS user and can do so at: www.iata.org/cussmanual
CUSS certificates for platforms and applications are posted and can be viewed on the CUSS Manual website at www.iata.org/cussmanual
Note: The subscription to the CUSS Manual web application is non-refundable once access to the web application has been granted.
