SRS Analyser Sample Reports

Creating reports with the SRS Analyser is simple and easy.

Quickly obtain complete airline schedules using the SCHEDULE MARKET SUMMARY REPORT . The SRS Analyser input screens are easy to understand. Simply input airport codes to display a summary of frequencies and seat capacity in a given market for the selected time period.
In the below example, selected airport codes were DEL and BOM, and the time period was July 2007.

In all SRS Analyser reports, the input options remain visible at the top of the screen, while the output is displayed immediately below.

  • In this report, entering only one airport code will return an aggregated schedule for all flights originating in the selected airport.
  • In this report selecting TIME SERIES in REPORT TYPE menu box will return schedule information for every month since January 2000, enabling historical market capacity analysis.

The SRS Analyser Internet based platform facilitates research for more detailed information. A simple click on one of the underlined field enables report drill-down for more details.
Using the above example, clicking on 83 displays the detailed schedules for Jet Airways ( 9W) service between DEL and BOM, as displayed in the output below.

  • Clicking on any of the underlined fields allows for drilling down or decoding.
  • Using your browser BACK BUTTON brings you back to the report page where you where before.
  • Active report parameters are safeguarded as long as your SRS Analyser session is open.

The SCHEDULE COMPARE REPORT allows immediate comparison for any two chosen time periods, and executes variance calculations for Frequency, Capacity and ASKs. Available time periods run from January 2000, up to 11 months into the future.

In the SCHEDULE COMPARE REPORT above, metropolitan area codes were used instead of station codes as the ORIGIN and DESTINATION. The result displays the information for all air service between Paris (PAR) and New York (NYC). A mouse click on Air France (AF) brings up the details of their operations in both Newark airport (EWR) and John F. Kennedy International airport (JFK), as seen below:

  • Metropolitan Area definition can be customized to meet specific user preferences.
  • User can create their own airport lists for use in all SRS Analyser reports.

Most reports can be presented as Graphs using a simple menu selection. The graph below is for the LEVEL OF OPERATIONS REPORT . It summarizes the number of flight operations per time period in a selected station, for both arrivals and departures. It allows for immediate viewing of peaks and valleys in daily operations.

  • All Graphs can be exported for inclusion in presentations.

The SCHEDULE CAPACITY SUMMARY REPORT below was created using an ALLIANCE definition (in this case Star Alliance) and REGION definitions (Europe and North America) to summarize per carrier all the air services marketed between the two selected regions.

  • Region definitions can be Geographical (such as Europe or North America in the above example), Governmental (such as provinces in Canada or states in Brazil), or Political (such as European Union or the Baltic Countries as an example)
  • Region content can be viewed using the REGION REPORT of the CODES / DATES section of the SRS Analyser
  • Alliance membership varies according to the selected time period for the created report
  • User can define their own AIRLINE GROUPINGS for use in different SRS Analyser reports
  • Other lists include Aircraft Types and Aircraft Families

The SRS Analyser includes more than 20 different pre-defined report templates, enabling you to view different level of information. You can choose the report template most suited to your information need. The SCHEDULE CITY PAIR REPORT format shown below includes detail information at the flight level.

Most SRS Analyser reports are available in three formats: HTML, ASCII and Excel.
  • HTML format is displayed on screen and, through the web interface, enables navigation, drilling down for further details, and decoding.
  • Excel and ASCII formats allow the user to export the data, to manipulate it for more customized formatting or analysis.
  • Creating an Excel format can be done from the CLICK TO RUN drop down menu, sending TO EXCEL an existing HTML report type.

OR

Sending the above SCHEDULE CITY PAIR REPORT to Excel produces a spreadsheet as below.

Using logic similar to the Excel Pivot Tables, the SCHEDULE DYNAMIC TABLE report allow building custom queries for specific analysis needs.

Using SAVED REPORTS CONFIGURATIONS , SRS Analyser users can protect and keep their customized report definitions for future recall and use.

The built-in MAP UTILITY facilitates the creation and exportation of network or hub map images, for use in presentation. Map creation is done using the same logic and drop-down menu options as for the other SRS Analyser reports.

Network Map

The MAP UTILITY has several built-in customisations:

  • Viewing / Hiding route lines
  • Viewing / Hiding country names
  • Viewing / Hiding airport names
  • Plotting additional routes
  • Zooming and picture cropping
