While still the most common cause of accidents, IATA members have reduced their runway excursion accidents by 43% since 2008.

A major new update to IATA’s Runway Excursion Risk Reduction (RERR) toolkit will soon be available.

Some 430 different organizations and 50% of IATA members are submitting information to the Global Safety Information Center, launched last year.
