Distribution & Travel Experience, drivers of WPS
The World Passenger Symposium (WPS) will be taking place in Dublin Convention Center, Ireland.
WPS has become the “must attend” event in the aviation industry and this year will bring together 650 experts from the airline, airport, travel agent and technology communities.
Under the theme “From Service to Value – A Customer Driven Transformation”, WPS will focus on the overall customer experience. Panels discussing the status of the New Distribution Capability (NDC) program are sure to be a highlight.
The Travel Experience elements of WPS will be linked by the theme of how technology and process enhancements could improve the overall experience of travel. Topics will include mobile technology in travel, the benefits of social media, the Checkpoint of the Future, passenger rights and the permanent bag tag. The overall discussion will be grounded with the traveler’s perspective on the experience of travel when the results of the IATA Customer Survey are announced.
