The IATA e-services team is running four free workshops in different locations to help the industry meet the 2012 and 2013 Board deadlines for implementing the IATA electronic miscellaneous document (EMD) standard.

The first workshop will take place in Madrid on 23 and 24 March 2011, followed by Miami, Singapore and Beijing. View Madrid agenda. There is no cost to attend, so register now!

• Become acquainted with IATA e-services, the latest EMD standard, interlining and understand requirements for deployment with GDSs and IATA BSPs
• Obtain first hand insights from airlines on how they implemented IATA e-services, what challenges they faced and how they managed them
• Hear from system providers about solutions and their work with airlines.

IATA e-services at the upcoming Innovation in Airline Distribution conference

Airlines are ahead of many other industries when it comes to innovative solutions for increasing revenue. However, implementing the technology, software, standards and infrastructure that would enable the industry to experience the benefits is not a simple undertaking. The Innovation in Airline Distribution conference in London on 28 February - 01 March 2011 is tailored to support airlines’ distribution strategy in years to come.
