2nd Latin America Cargo Day
22 October, Lima. Following the great success of the 2012 edition, the 2nd Latin America Cargo Day, hosted by IATA and Avianca Cargo, will gather more than 150 South American air cargo delegates to discuss the latest air cargo trends, key issues affecting the entire supply chain and available solutions.
The event is free of charge and will be held in English and Spanish with simultaneous translation.

29-31 October, Miami. The bi-annual IATA Aviation Fuel Forum is a premier industry meeting for the world's aviation fuel community. The Forum offers a unique platform for airline representatives, fuel suppliers and IATA Strategic Partners to discuss industry priorities and agree on actions to enhance its efficiency and productivity.

World Passenger Symposium 2013
29-31 October, Dublin. The 3rd World Passenger Symposium takes place in Dublin, Ireland and is open for registration. Last year the event attracted some 650 delegates from the entire value chain who reported a satisfaction rate of 94%.
Hear first-hand where the industry is heading from CEOs representing the entire Air Travel Value Chain. Under the theme “From Service to Value - a customer driven transformation”, the agenda will focus on the customer experience from shopping for air travel to the actual airport experience. A particular focus will be given to New Distribution Capability (NDC) and to the new programs that will impact the passenger airport experience, such as the Checkpoint of the Future.

22nd Aviation Security (AVSEC) World
5-7 November, Istanbul. AVSEC World is right around the corner, have you registered yet?
Learn practical new skills and solutions, exchange ideas and operational experiences and build tomorrow's solutions today. The 22nd AVSEC Conference will chart new territory in Istanbul, Turkey, combining a series of workshops, tracks and plenary discussions bringing together high-level industry and government representatives.
This year offers something new. Two new tracks, ‘Track 1: Issues and Opportunities’ and ‘Track 2: Innovation and Technology’ have been added to the program and will be delivered as workshops on the second day of the conference. Among the topics are: Human Trafficking; Questioning Techniques; SeMS Implementation; and Passenger Data.
With record attendance and strong debates presented at the 21st AVSEC World held in Brooklyn this past March, equally strong attendance and new perspectives are anticipated at the next AVSEC World in November.

Dubai Airshow 2013
17-21 November, Dubai. This year marks the first time IATA will participate as an exhibitor in The Dubai Airshow, a premier world class aviation and aerospace event.
The show is held every two years, and according to an article in The National on 29 September 2013, around 1,000 exhibitors have already registered, marking a 4 percent increase in the number of exhibitors over the last event, and about 150 aircraft will be on display.
$63bn worth in business was generated in the last event in 2011, and it is expected that Arabian Gulf carriers will have orders in the billions this year (The National, 29 September 2013).

IATA Global Aviation Human Capital Summit
20-21 November, Lisbon. Every year, over 500 Human Resource leaders working in the air transport industry are invited to share best practices in human capital management and development. The IATA Global Aviation Human Capital Summit provides participants with a unique opportunity to discuss challenges, explore synergies, and identify solutions that can be adapted to fit the dynamic needs of the industry.
Last year, 150 participants attended the summit in Colombo, Sri Lanka to address key topics such as: managing costs while maintaining a high level of service; and maximizing the use of technological tools to engage the workforce. View photos and videos of previous summits.
