5Z for bulk coupons.

During Pilot test, EK used reason code 5Z for rejecting one RM which contained many coupons. All the coupons were identical with same routing and fare. EK had also provided coupon break down. EK file did not pass. Not sure if there was a problem in SIS system. As a work around solution, EK deleted the transaction and submitted the file. File went through.
Due to last minute pressure, EK missed providing this feedback to IATA.
EK just wants to reconfirm that reason code 5Z can be used for a RM which contains bulk coupons.

Hi Shankar, Reason code 5Z does not require coupon breakdowns and therefore allows RMs to be raised with zero, one, or more coupon breakdown records. If you can let us know the error received by you from the system, we can further investigate this issue. Kind regards, Ashley From: SHANBHOG SHANKAR
