Will IS-WEB have access to Sandbox during testing?

Will IS-WEB have access to the Sandbox during testing?  In the Sign Up and Certification guive, section 3.3.3 Move To Production, it seems that IS-WEB had access to the Sandbox only up to the time of SIS go-live.
Thanks
Lee

Hi Lee,

I assume you mean whether or not you can have access to IS-Web in the Sandbox environment. If so the answer is no – the Sandbox is only a server where you may submit files to SIS and receive validation/certification reports back – via the transport interface of iiNET.

Access to IS-Web (live) will only be granted if the ISPA is signed and received by IATA. Please also see the September bulletin (issue 2) for further details on these topics.

Regards,

Ashley

It appears that the only meaningful IS-WEB, Dashboard, training will be in the Live environment, is that true?

I understand that IS-WEB is only accesible after getting approval of our Participation Agreement.  What I do not understand is whether we will be able to obtain any meaningful testing of IS-WEB before going live.  Since IS-WEB provides Dashboard capability to search and view invoices, view the status of uploading invoices and seeing whether they pass/fail the Sanity Check and Validity Check, it seems that non of our testing will provide any input to IS-WEB for us to use and become acquainted with the product.

Thanks

Hi Lee,

We have provided the Computer-Based Training (CBT) and the User Guide, which should provide you with guidance in using IS-Web (both are available on the Materials page of the SIS website). The application is designed to be self-explanatory and therefore we do not provide a facility to test the IS-Web part of SIS.

Best,

Ashley
