Fallback Scenario

Dear all,

suppose we have successfully done sandbox and certification testing and everything is ready for going live with SIS.

Then, all of a sudden, we have a system problem and cannot generate IS-XML or IS-IDEC anymore.

In this case, can we send our transactions using paper and old-IDEC again ?

Thanks and best regards,

Elias

Hi Elias,

Yes – in this case you can send your transactions using paper and old IDEC. But when your internal system is back up and running, we would strongly recommend that you go through Sandbox & Certification to ensure your IS Format files are being created correctly. Please also note that we require you to migrate within 4 months of completion of Sandbox & Certification Testing.

In addition, please also note that once you have fully migrated, access to the ICH Web will be discontinued.

Best regards
