Inward billing IS-IDEC test files
For SIS certification, carriers are required to provide comprehensive outward billing IS-IDEC files to IS for validation.
As you are well aware, outward billing is only half of the interline process for carriers. Carriers need to be able to also process inward billings recieved on IS-IDEC files output by IS.
For SIS migration, carriers need to validate their processing of the IS-IDEC file output by IS. The sample files released with ISPG are absolutely inadequate for this purpose.
When will SIS provide comprehensive inward billing IS-IDEC files to the industry for this purpose? Presumably, this is being provided for the Pilot carriers, but what about the rest of us?
The input data provided by pilot carriers during the pilot phase can be used to generate the comprehensive inward billing IS-IDEC files to industry.
I have previously raised this with SIS Project Management, and so far have not had an adequate response.
If other carrriers feel this is an important issue for their SIS readiness, please indicate your support for this request. |

Also LX would like to receive inbound files - particularly IS-XML for Pax. Moreover, we would like such a file with real data, based on real invoices. As per when will you provide the same?
Thanks,
Elias

Dear Konda and Elias,
Basically, we are currently looking into extracting additional sample files from the Pilot Testing phase which we can give for your inward testing. However, at the moment we cannot give a committed date until we are in a more advanced stage of the Pilot Testing. We will provide further update in due course.
Best regards

ZK would also like access to inward billing sample files for testing purposes. I look forward to hearing when "inbound" examples are available.

Hello IATA,
EI also require sample inbound IS-IDEC files for testing. Please confirm when these files will be made available so we can factor this into the project plan.
Many thanks,
Brian.
