Moving to Production
Hello IATA,
We have some questions re Section 6.5 of the Sign Up & Certification Guide (V1.1) - Move to Production :
#1 On successful certification of a BCFT, a certification report is sent to the Member and SIS Ops.
Q1. How will this notification be sent ?
#2. SIS Ops validates the certification details and sends an email to the member with proposed Go-live date.
Q2. How soon after the successful certification will SIS Ops notify the Member of proposed live date ?
Q3. How do SIS Ops determine the proposed live date ? If for example we completed successful certification of Prime Billings towards the end of Jan 2012, when is the earliest we could possibly go live ?
Kind Regards,
Brian. |

Dear Brian, Q1. Certification reports are emailed to both the Super User and SIS Ops – this file is in TXT format. Q2. As soon as you are certified, you may migrate your transactions at any time thereafter. We do not impose any go-live date – it is up to your organisation to determine when you would like to migrate. Our only requirement is that you need to migrate the transactions you have certified for within 4 months after certification. So you may send us your proposed migration date after you have certified your files (as per Section 6.5/Move to Production of the Sign-Up and Certification Guide v1.1). We will need to revise the Sign-Up and Certification Guide to reflect this. Q3. Please see Q2. Hope this helps.
