SIS Outbound file field mapping

Dear IATA,

In regards to SIS Outbound file field mapping, under the ContactType, if we select email, does this mean for ContactValue, we will have to input an email address?

Thanks.

Thanks Asley.

Some more queries:

1) What is the purpose of LocationID? What does IATA do with it?

2) What is the value that we should input for TaxCode?

Thanks.

Dear SuatHong,

Please find the answers to your questions as follows:

1)     What is the purpose of LocationID? What does IATA do with it?

IATA does not do anything with this information. This is used for an airline to specify: a different legal entity (e.g. in different countries, different business unit within the same companies, different services of the companies, so that the invoice could be routed to the right person for approval.

2) What is the value that we should input for TaxCode?

As per the Record Structures, this is to be populated with the Interline Tax Code, which should be known by your Revenue Accounting department.

Hope that clarifies

Rgds,

Ashley

Thanks for your reply, Ashley.

Since the LocationID is for the purpose of routing invoices to the right person for approval, where can we find the list of LocationID for all the Buyer Organisations?

Thanks.
