IS-Web permission template
Hi,
We can create permission templates for ease of assigning permissions to users in the IS-Web. However, when amendment is done to the template, will it change the permissions of the users whose permissions are assigned based on this template? Or the permissions of the existing users will not change and that only new users will have a different permission when we assigned the amended template to that user?
For example, the permission template originally has create and validate access only. The template was then amended to have validate and submit access only. Will all existing users who were assigned this permission template previously have validate and submit access only, or will they continue to have create and validate access only?
Thank you. |

Hi Pei Shan, If you update a template it will affect only future permission assignments. All old assignments will remain unchanged. So if a new assignment needs to be done all old access will have to be manually updated.
