Deletion of correspondence - IS-Web
Hi,
We will like to delete a correspondence that we have incorrectly raised (i.e. there is no need to raise correspondence for the 3rd stage RM). However, we are unable to do so in IS-Web as there is no delete button.
Please advise how can we delete this incorrect correspondence raised? Thank you. |

Hi Pei Shan, Once the correspondence has already been sent to your partner, it cannot be deleted. If the correspondence is still in the status ‘Saved’ or ‘Ready to Submit’, then you can still delete it as it has not yet been sent. Hope that clarifies, Ashley From: Lim Pei Shan

Hi Ashley,
The correspondence is in status "saved". However, I am unable to delete it because I cannot find the "delete" button. Please refer to the attachment for the screenshot. The deletion function is also not stated in the IS-Web User Guide.
Please advise how can we delete the correspondence? Thank you.

Hi Pei Shan,
Once the correspondence has already been sent to your partner, it cannot be deleted. If the correspondence is still in the status ‘Saved’ or ‘Ready to Submit’, then you can still delete it as it has not yet been sent.

Hi Pei Shan, Please allow me to correct my response – you can edit the correspondence in ‘saved’ or ‘ready to submit’ status, but not delete. Regards, Ashley From: Lim Pei Shan

Hi Ashley,
We no longer need to send the correspondence to the other airline. Based on your email, does this mean that this correspondence will always stay in OPEN status? This is because even though I edited the correspondence, I am unable to remove the 3rd rejection details that is tagged to this correspondence.
Please advise if there is any way for us to change the 3rd rejection details that is tagged to this correspondence? Thank you.

Hi Pei Shan, In this case you should keep the correspondence open and left for expiry. After the expiry date you they should no longer be able to submit the expired correspondence and the status will show “Closed” with sub status “Due to Expiry”. Hope that helps. Best,
