IATA Clearance Question
Today, for IATA we submit period totals for all four billing categories (pax, cargo, uatp and miscellaneous). The subsequent form 3 nets out all four categories in one amount.
For ACH (Chase) we receive separate form 3 totals for each category.
Would it be possible under SIS for IATA to provide separate totals by category on the form 3 (like ACH)?? |

Hi Lance
An interesting question, but an ICH one, not a SIS one! The F3 layout has been with us for many years, and is based on the assumption that an airline can see its own F1 claims anyway, so we do not have to cram the columns together to try and get in 4 more. We did consider doing the 'by and against' by category, so effectively an F3 P, F3 C, etc, but I don't recall we got much interest. However the ICH UG meeting is coming up next month, so we may mention this, and see what the feedback is.
