Uploading of XML ZIP file
Dear IATA,
I understand that the extracted XML zip file will be uploaded to IATA (ICH) as an automated process. Kindly confirm on this. If so, could we have IATA's IP name and address to upload the file to?
Before our cutover in Sept 2012, would IATA be able to create a testing environment where we can upload our file to ICH for checking and verification that the file received by ICH is correct?
Thanks.

Hi Suat Hong, Please clarify which XML zip file you are referring to as we do not have any uploading facility to the ICH. Dear Ashley,
Thanks for your reply.
The XML zip file I'm referring to is the outward billings to other airlines (equivalent to the current F12 file).
With the cutover to SIS, I understand that we no longer need to upload the file manually to ICH. Instead it will be uploaded via an automated process. Thus, before the cutover takes place, we would like to do a test run to make sure the file that is sent to ICH is correct. Is this part of the sandbox testing?
Thanks.

Dear Suat Hong, Yes – you can submit your outward billings via IS-IDEC/IS-XML directly to SIS. You should not submit it to ICH as well as these invoices will then be flagged as duplicates. During Sandbox testing, you can send test outward billing files to validate them and make sure that the real files will not fail in validation in the SIS live environment. Hope this clarifies. Thanks for clarification, Ashley.
Could you kindly assist to advise on where I can find more information on sandbox testing? I need to understand how to go about performing sandbox test.
Thanks.

Dear Suat Hong, Please refer to the SIS Sign-Up and Certification Guide, which contains all the details and steps on testing and certification of files in the Sandbox. If there are any questions about this document, please let us know.
