Aircraft Type Code
Hello,
Using the Miscellaneous Invoice screen in IS-Web we attempted to use the ICAO Airport Type Code MD80 but received an error message that the value of the field was incorrect. We are utilizing the ICAO Aircraft Type Code list to select this 4 digit data element. Please advise what the source of the Aircraft Type Code is. Also, some codes have only 3 characters. How should we handle those?
Thank you for your assistance,

Hi Christine, As discussed with Bruno, MD80 is not a valid ICAO code for an aircraft. MD81, for example, is a valid code. For reference, 3-Digit aircraft codes are IATA aircraft type, and there is another field to mention those. So when aircraft type is required for some fields you can provide either the IATA or the ICAO code.
