Currency in RM

ISPG P40 says "The Memo amounts are to be provided only in the Currency of Listing". We are in Group B and always use USD for settlement. Is there possibility for us to receive RM each amounts are described in currency other than USD? In that case do we need to convert its currency to USD?

Hi,

Yes. In SIS, there is a possibility where you will get RM in a currency other than USD. You can convert the billed values to USD and compare it against your expected values.

If we rejected on IS-Web, which currency would be shown? the original listing currency of prime billing?
Also, if billing carrier conver their listing currency to billing currency using incorrect FDR, we agree with their value in listing currency, but disagree with their value in billing amount, how to reject?

Dear WangQi,

If you reject a prime billing that was made in SIS on IS-Web, the amount and the currency will be populated automatically, and it will be the original Currency of Listing.

If you reject a prime billing made outside of SIS, you will need to populate the amount in the currency of listing and the FDR.

SIS will validate the FDR and therefore it will not be possible to provide the incorrect FDR.

Best regards
