Period of migration
Dear IATA,
In the list provided of plans to migration of SIS member, we saw that all carriers plan to migrate in the first period of each month.
But in the member list, some carriers have migrated in P2, P3 or P4 of the month.
We would like to know, if a carrier can migrate in P2, P3 or P4 of a month or they have to wait the first period of the month ?
Thanks in advance. |

Hi Zineb, In the planned migration list, it is true that some carriers have planned to migrate in the first period of the billing month. The SIS Member List indicates the actual period of migration for the carriers that have started their migration. So yes, you can choose to migrate in any period of the billing month – there is no restriction on this approach. Hi Ashley,
I thank you for your response.
However, we know that a carrier which migrated for Miscellaneous category can stop sending paper invoices three months after. If carriers migrate Miscellaneous category in P3 January, they can stop sending paper only after P3 April or on P1 April ?
Kind regards,
Zineb

Dear Zineb, This would be P3-April as migrated carriers are obligated to send paper for three months (or 90 calendar days) after migration.
