File Types
Hello, regarding ISPG Version 3 Chapter 9.4 I've got a question. "Plain HTML files (.htm and .html) are allowed without embedded hyperlinks and image file references. " A few lines below I found the following text passage: "Note: SIS will only validate the file extension. It will not validate if the file is indeed in the same format as suggested by the file extension". My question: How can you make sure that the files contain no virus or malware? Is it possible not to allow .htm or .html maybe via setup within the member profile settings? Best regards Marco Schulz

Hi Marco,
Some basic virus check procedures will be executed when the input file is received within the Integrated Settlement environment.
Since html is a neutral format accepted by default in SIS, it is not possible to setup the member profile and prevent a html file to be sent to the Billed carrier.
