Sandbox test slot

Hi,

1. We were informed that sandbox test slot must be booked with IATA? How can we make the booking? We would like to plan for sandbox testing - Cargo category.

2. In SIS Bulletin Apr 2012, we are recommended to retest certified transaction as to check any validations problems that might occur with the release 1.1. This sandbox environment is open at any time, to all airlines? Any ID required ? Can we have the link for this sandbox environment? Or we need to book a slot?

3. This sandbox environment will be opened at all time & serve as a test area for IS Web? Or It will be closed at one time ?

Appreciate your advice.

Thank you.

Dear Siti Khairiah,

Please find the answer to your questions as follows:

1.    There is no need to book time slots for Sandbox testing. This environment is free and unlimited for all SIS members to use in testing and certification activities.

2.    In order to test, you will require an iiNET connection. You can then send your test files to the Sandbox via iiNET. For more information please review the SIS Joining Requirements Checklist.

3.    As mentioned above, there is no IS-Web interface for the Sandbox. All files will need to be submitted via iiNET. From time to time, there may be maintenance downtimes in the Sandbox, in which case this would be communicated to all SIS Member Super Users.

Hope this clarifies.

Regards,

Ashley
