SIS Validation and Sample Billing
Does the SIS Validation preclude a carrier from submitting Sample Billing to a Non Sample Billing Carrier (when it has been defined in the member profile: ISPG pg 191, sec 10.4.5)? Is there a possiblity that a non sample carrier receives a sample billing invoice in error? |

Dear Jan,
This field on the Member Profile is for information purposes only.
If a carrier has signed the Sampling Agreement, it will have to comply with the requirements of that agreement. If a carrier plans to discontinue Sampling, the carriers will have to follow the procedure defined in the Sampling agreement to do so. Just by changing the field value on Member Profile to "Non Sample" will not address this issue.
Best regards
