Charge Code of Airport Taxes
Hi,
As per the codeshare/blockspace agreements, usually the airport taxes are paid by operating carriers and then they bill the marketing carriers and send seperate tax invoice.
Should I consider these kind of charges as part of "Taxes" (5.2.9.6) charge code or "Block Space" (5.2.10.1) charge code ?

Hi Yusuf,
These kind of charges should be billed as 'Block Space' charge code. This is because airport taxes would be considered as a part of operating cost (as opposed to a tax liability) for the carrier.
