Details of E-Archiving

Hi,

In the ISPG it is stated that optional e-archiving solution is provided.

Can you please answer the below questions regarding this issue ?
  • Cost of this solution
  • Avaliable for receivables and payables
  • About the ease of access to invoices
Thanks and regards,
Yusuf (TK)

Dear Yusuf, e-Archiving cost are defined in the ABC. The solution will be available for Payable and receivable, but as DS may not includes all the countries at go live. Note that this feature will be available in release 1.1 in April 2012. Invoices will be accessible through the SIS interface and will be made available in in few seconds. Note that this part is still under specification. Best Regards Bruno

Hi Bruno,

The ABC is fairly ambiguous regarding the charges for e-Archiving, it states $0.16, but does not indicate what this means.   i.e. Is it $0.16 per byte, kilobyte, invoice etc  also how long are things archived for.  Is this an annual charge ?

Also are you able to advise if there will be a means of downloading data if (for example) we choose to e-archive for 3 years, but then want to save all data at the end of this time to a hard-drive.

Thanks / Ian

Hi Ian,

The $0,16 rate is for one invoice to be archived for 10 years. There is no other charge for that service.

Please also note that this legal archive is on top of the file dispatched to you each period, so the need of retrieval is mainly for audit purpose.

Choosing to archive for 3 years is generally not an ideal solution, as legal archiving is used to restore invoice by invoice, not a year at a time.

Hope that clarifies.

Best regards
