Testing of Supporting Document file

Is testing of Supporting Document file within scope of Sandbox tetsing? I am referring to the submission of the Supporting Document file to IS by the billing entity.

Dear Konda,

The scope of Sandbox Testing includes only IS-IDEC and/or IS-XML files. Testing of other interface files (e.g. batch Supporting Documents zip file, Usage Files) are not supported by the Sandbox environment. These files can be directly submitted to the IS Production Server.

Best Regards

This means we have to test our Supporting Documents file in production after we go live.

If there are any issues with the Supporting Document file upon go live, we would have very little time to correct it. This is a big deal because if we do not provide appropriate supporting documents, we will get lots of rejections.

Have the pilot carriers Supporting Documents files been tested?

A go live criteria has to include appropriate testing of our SIS input files.

Hi Konda,

As this has already been addressed in an email from Kirk, I am posting the answer here again for the benefits of the rest of the SIS Forums members:

There is currently no sandbox validation process for supporting documents batch file. The requirements are straightforward but there will be an issue in linking if an airline gets it incorrect. However it will not cause their invoices to fail . With respect to Pilots, yes they are currently submitting supporting documents during the pilot run for testing.

Rgds,

Ashley
