Dear Erdem,
Please find the answers to your questions below:
1-From this date, Can Non-Migrated Airlines receive downconverted idec file?
No, from Sep 2012 onwards, there will be no more Old IDEC down-converted file.
The reason for this is because the “Old IDEC down-converted” file includes only PRIME Source code billings (Pax); respective ORIGINAL billings for Cargo.
At this point of time (September 2012) the invoicing of PAX Prime and Cargo Original billings via SIS in mandatory for the whole industry.
2-If both Old Idec and Downconverted Idec discontinue, What will be non-migrated airlines' situation :)
ALL carrier at this point in time must be migrated to SIS for PAX Prime and Cargo Original billings.*
In such case,
- a non-migrated billing carrier would still send paper invoices (for RMs, BMs only) to billed carriers (migrated or non-migrated)
- a non-migrated billed carrier will get his incoming invoices from migrated billing carriers via IS-WEB (and via paper from non-migrated billing carriers)
*Carriers can still be “non-migrated” for non-prime (e.g. RMs, BMs) – however this can then lead to major problems with the migrated billed carrier.
Please note that it will be very likely that fully migrated carriers will block in ICH the possibility for a non-migrated carrier billing them through F12
Hope this clarifies.
Kind regards
