E-Tickets that push to Paper

We are reviewing Record 20 - Coupon Data Record, and a question has come up.

For E-Tickets that push to paper, are we to include as a scanable item and also populate Field 58 (Attachment Indicator) as a 'Y'.

If we do not include this as a scanable item, will we get rejected from SIS?

Currently, we treat E-Tickets that push to paper the same as E-Tickets and we are hoping that SIS will treat them the same way.

Thank you for your assistance!  Jeff Britton - US Airways

Dear Jeff,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this question. As per the SIS Revenue Accounting Manual 2011(Chapter A3, 1.1) Passenger prime billings do not require any supporting documents in case of paper coupons (only FIMs need to be attached as supporting document).

Hence, an eTicket coupon pushed to paper does not need to be supported in the prime biling.

Best regards
