Service Provider
We provide a union rep on behalf of other carriers. Would we bill the hours for this representation under category Service Provider, code Misc? Or is there a better charge category / code combination to use?
Best Regards,

Hi Christina,
Are the other carriers that are receiving this union rep service your alliance partners? If so you may use Charge Category Partner Alliance and Charge Code Misc.
Best regards

Hi Ashley,
No, they are not members of our alliance. Does that mean service provider does apply?
Thanks,
Christina

Hi Christina,
In this case it would be best if it is agreed between the billing partners which Charge Category/Code to use. In general, the Charge Category Service Provider should be used for services rendered for customers, as opposed to partners.
Best regards

Hi Christina,
A correction to my previous post - you can indeed use the Charge Category Service Provider and the appropriate Charge Code for the union rep service.
